WELCOME DAHOAM!

Since 2012, Dahoam1516 has been a nonprofit school, learning community, and event space in Alameda, CA. 

We offer hands-on brewing, cooking, and gardening classes, unique food and beer experiences, and community events for beginners, students, families, and lifelong learners in a welcoming small-group setting that feels like being "at home."  

We promote an active learning community as part of our mission to teach traditional life skills aligned with modern living.  Admission is affordable and we offer low-income options.
