Where are you located?
We’re right in the heart of Alameda CA., at:
1516 Lincoln Ave
Alameda, CA 94501
We sit at the infamous “bend in Lincoln” — as you’re turning, you’re basically wrapping around Dahoam1516.
Finding the entrance
It’s on Powers Ct. near the corner on Lincoln Ave.
Walk down Powers Ct., past our Friendship Garden, until you see the red gate with the Bavaria + Alameda flags waving overhead like they’re welcoming you in.
How to know you’re close
• You’re a stone’s throw from the Swell Bar (formerly McGrath's Irish Pub).
• You’re three blocks from the Forbidden Island - Tiki Bar.
• You’ll spot a big Magnolia tree, the lush garden, and the yellow house with white trim — that’s us.
Are you open to the public?

We are open for paid class and events, and members, and their guests only.

Can kids and others under 21 attend?
ABSOLUTELY!!
Classes and events are open to all-ages.
Most classes are very kid friendly and we encourage kid-focused learning.
In cases where it might be more adult-focused, we often offer "in garden" activities including our famous "gnome hunt."
We have over 350 gnomes and gnome-related items throughout our space. Special treat for someone that finds them all.
Notes:
Kids under 16 must attend with a paid adult.
Kids under 8, you might want to bring some toys, etc. Though we do have our infamous gnomes.
Kids 16-18 may attend unchaperoned with parental and host permission.
Beer sampling is limited to 21+ with valid ID.
We practice positive age confirmation.
What should I wear?
Clothes...literally. 😁
Be comfortable and be yourself.
Dahoam means “at home,” and that’s how we want you to feel.
Our classes are hands-on and can sometimes be messy.
Casual clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty, flour-y, or “beer-y” is best.
Some classes are outside, so a light jacket is a good idea, especially for kids.
Aprons are available in a limited number, bring your own.
Please wear comfortable shoes.
What if I want to do something not on the schedule?
We call those experiences.
We offer a selection of pre-defined experiences, or we can design one to meet your needs.
These work well for family gatherings, small work teams, or a night out with friends.
Please visit our experiences page to get ideas and start planning.
